The concept is just so good here. Making sure the changes happen in real-time adds to the immersion. Ruukoto's journey is short and filled with discovery. But oof, (spoiler) it is bittersweet saying "I'll never forgot you" to a character who never appears again. Let's hope Ruukoto is out there living life to its fullest.
Played this with a friend. Probably the biggest standout moment was when Exploration Layer 3 started playing- the art style evolution was unbelievably genius and compelling the whole time, but that was the absolute peak moment of it. Just a few more background instrumentals made the music feel so much more alive and interesting, and in turn made Ruukoto feel so much more alive.
This was very cute! I really enjoyed the charming atmosphere, the way the world changes little by little is a really novel touch and adds to the sweet story about a robot learning more and more about the world.
