Set in the universe of the "Touhou Project" series, The Sumireko Chronicle series will follow the journey of Sumireko Usami as she explores a magical land she discovers called "Gensokyo". Told from the perspectives of her friends and family,  The Sumireko Chronicle will offer new insight into iconic series events, and completely new tales.

This is a "Sneak peak" release of the first chapter of the first book in The Sumireko Chronicle series. Chapter one of The Sumireko Chronicle - Violet Origins features the series' first set of original characters: Sumireko's family. This chapter demonstrates the general vibe of the "Outside World" chapters.
